Railway RPF Constable SI Vacancy 2023: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is soon going to release the notification for the recruitment of Constable and Sub-Inspector. Recently a letter has been circulated which is an order of the DIG Railway Board stating that Instruction-43 (Recruitment Rules of Railway Protection Force) is to be revised. According to the letter, the first stage of the recruitment process (including calling for applications, screening, appointing an agency, and conducting the CBT examination) is to be completed by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The second stage of the recruitment process (physical, document verification, and medical) will be completed by RPF only.
In this regard, a committee has been formed to make changes in RPF Instruction-43 (Recruitment Rules) so that the RPF Recruitment 2023 process can be started. Therefore, the RPF recruitment process for Constables and Sub-Inspectors (SI) in the Railway Protection Force is expected to start soon by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

Age Limit : The age limit for this recruitment is 18-25 years for Constables and 20-25 years for Sub-Inspectors. Important date for calculation of age limit will be updated here after the release of RPF Constable Notification 2023 and RPF SI Notification 2023. Railway RPF Constable SI Vacancy Pay Scale
The pay scale of RPF constables is Rs. 21700/- plus allowances. This is a Level-3 CPC Pay Matrix job. Whereas the pay scale of RPF Sub-Inspector (SI) is Rs.35400/- plus allowances. This is a Level-6 Pay Matrix job.
Railway RPF Constable SI Vacancy selection Process
The selection process for RPF Constable and Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2023 includes the following stages:
Stage-1 : Computer Based Test (CBT) Written Examination
Stage-2 : Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). (On the basis of CBT score, candidates of 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for PET/PST).
